사이버 국가 감시의 기억 - 국정원 해킹 사건, 민주주의를 난도질하다 해킹(hacking). 컴퓨터 시스템에 침입하는 행위를 뜻하는 이 말은 본래 ‘난도질하다’는 뜻에서 유래했다고 한다. 국가정보기관의 해킹 사건이 뜨거운 모래 폭풍처럼 지난 여름을 휩쓸었지만, 지나갔다. 국정원이 국회에 자료제출을 거부한 가운데 검찰은 뚜렷한 피해가 드러나지 않았다며 수사를 하는둥 마는둥 한다. 국정원에서 밝힌대로 해킹은 모두 적법한 해외 공작과 실험용으로만 사용되었을까. 국내 ‘사찰’은 전혀 없었을까. 그러나 이 해명들이 모두 진실하다 하더라도 국민들은 이미 해킹당한 것이나 다름이 없다. 우선, 국민의 신뢰가 난도질당했다. 국정원은 휴대전화와 SNS 감청을 못하고 있어 활동에 지장이 많다고 주장해 왔다. 2005년 안기부 X파일 사건 이후로 이.. 더보기
